5 Years

I was reading my friend’s blog tonight, and she told a very personal story. She was abused by her first husband, and not that many people knew the story. I didn’t know the story, but I knew why she got divorced. My point in telling you that is it sort of made me think about telling you “my story.” I decided that I am not going to post “my story,” but I will tell you some thoughts.

5 years ago this week I came home from Arizona and stopped attending Arizona State University. I was sick and now I am healthy! I have learned things in the past 5 years that will affect and benefit me for the rest of my life. I think about what happened in Arizona everyday, and I know I am stronger and better for it. Thank you to my parents and family for all their support always and especially the past 5 years. Thank you! Also, I know that God loves me and answers my prayers. So, here is to 5 more years baybeeee!!!

Even though I never ever see you anymore (and it makes me sad) I think about you all the time and cherish all of our memories and good times! :)
I am so glad that you are better and respect you so much for all that you have been through and for the woman you are and always have been.

I don't know and never knew any details, but thought you were struggling. I am SO glad you are doing better!! Your my fav little cousin! I love ya! I hope the next 5 years only brings happiness into your life. I think the most important thing about trials is realizing that there is something to be learned from them, and to realize that they do make up stronger, better people.
