The past few days I have come to remember that everyone is dealing with something. Whether it is illness, family problems, death, stress, or whatever, everyone is dealing with something hard.
I am trying to be nicer to people and treat them how I want to be treated when I am having a bad day. (Even if they aren't having a bad day, or maybe they are, but I don't know what they are going through...It is easier said than done.)
I am at home tonight taking care of my mom who had foot surgery today, and I am counting my blessings! My mom's surgery went well today. My dad flew into SLC safely today, and the rest of my family is doing well. (Kyle's flight gets in tonight/tomorrow morning at around 2:30am. So, once he lands, my family will be safe at each of their homes.)
I was reading on one of my friend's blog, and her mom died the end of November. It makes me really sad that Jessica's mom died. I remember having a lot of fun with Jessica and her mom in high school. I hope you hang in there Jess.
One can't know everything that others are going through. I didn't know that Jessica's mom died, or that a family friend was just diagnosed with breast cancer, or many other things. So, needless to say, everyone is dealing with something, and I should treat others with kindness and be grateful for what I have been blessed with!!!

Oh this is so true, unfortunately
I think we could all work on that. Sometimes we just need a reminder. Tell you mom to stay on top of her pain medication and take it easy. I hope she feels better soon.
I agree. One of my resolutions this year is to be nicer and more thoughtful, especially strangers I run into on the road and in the grocery store.
This is so true. I need to be better at that as well. Thanks for your post.
Love you girl. I don't know why I never saw this post until today. We did have good times, didn't we? I loved it and my mom surely loved you! We were going though pictures the day she passed and there was one of you and I at Bear Lake with my family, I had forgotten about that time!
The thing that gets me through is wonderful people like you and happy memories!
Hope you're well! Thanks for everything!
