Fall!

Hello everyone! I bet you are wondering how I am holding up since there was no ER or Grey’s Anatomy last week. (Due to the VP debate…) I’m doing considerably well. 

Kyle has been sending out a weekly email of the going-ons in his life. It has been really awesome! I was walking to class tonight (That is where I am right now. It starts in 15 minutes, so don’t worry, I am going to pay attention to my professor.) and thinking, “My brother goes to YALE!” How cool is that?!?!?! I was just thinking about him walking around campus and just being a college student. It made me smile.

I think today was a great day! The sky was blue, the air was crisp and fresh, the temperature was just perfect, and the trees are starting to change color. It is just beautiful. I wish I had my camera with me when I was walking to class tonight. This kind of day makes all the crappy, hard days worth it! It was amazing.

The past week or so since I have posted, a few things have happened. The Buddy Walk was on September 27th. The turn out was great! It was a fun day. I was in charge of the registration table. People from my ward signed up to help. I had 10-15 people come and help. It was really cool to see people from my ward come just to serve and help. It made me happy that they were able to come and so were so many other people. One of the main purposes of the Down Syndrome Buddy Walk is to raise awareness in the community. So, all in all it was a success. Leona did such a great job!

Let’s see what else…. MY DAD HAD A BIRTHDAY! Happy Birthday! I am glad I was able to spend time with you on your birthday, Dad! I love you so much! You are such a great dad!

Other than that, it has been the usual. I am really excited for my upcoming vacation! I am going to St. George Friday evening and coming back Wednesday night. It is fall break at the U, so I decided to take a few days off from work (utilizing the Columbus Day holiday) and go lay by the pool! I did this last year too, and it was great! I got caught up on homework, relaxed, slept in, went to the pool and watched TV. So, I am excited to go again this year. (Thanks for letting me use your condo Dad!)
